Svenskt Vattenprov is a brand owned and operated by Clearview Solutions AB (Org. No. 559174-2324), a Swedish-registered limited company based in Stockholm.

Quality and Accreditation You Can Trust

All our analysis packages are analyzed by SGS Analytics, a Swedac-accredited laboratory that adheres to the Swedish Food Agency's and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's regulations and recommendations. We work according to the same standards that apply to public waterworks, which means that each sample is evaluated against Swedish drinking water requirements and EU-established limit values.

The results are legally valid and can undoubtedly be used as a basis when contacting the municipality's environmental and health protection board, when applying for grants for water improvement measures, or when selling property with a private well.

How it Works – From Order to Analysis Result

We have made the process as simple and secure as possible. The entire flow is as follows:

1. Order online – Choose the analysis package that suits your water source. Payment is securely made via Klarna, card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or Apple Pay/Google Pay.

2. Sampling kit delivered – We send your kit with PostNord within 1–2 business days. The kit contains sample containers, clear instructions, and a pre-paid return envelope.

3. Take the sample at home – Follow the simple instructions and take the water sample from your well or water source.

4. Send in – Place the sample containers in the enclosed return envelope and drop it off at your nearest PostNord agent. Return shipping to the laboratory is always included.

5. Analysis results – Within 5–10 business days, you will receive a detailed analysis report with results, comparison against current guideline values, and concrete recommendations.

6. Personal advice – We will contact you for a review of your results and answer all your questions.

Years of Experience and Thousands of Satisfied Customers

Since our start in 2018, we have built up deep knowledge of Swedish well conditions and the challenges well owners face. Over the years, we have helped thousands of property owners across Sweden clarify their water quality – from Skåne in the south to Norrland in the north.

Our experience means we understand the regional differences in water quality. We know that a well in lime-rich areas like Gotland or Skåne can have completely different challenges than a rock-drilled well in the granite bedrock of Värmland or Dalarna. We are familiar with the most common problems in different parts of the country – from high iron levels in certain forest areas to saltwater intrusion along the coasts, from PFAS contamination near airports to radon in granite areas.

We use this knowledge to give you better advice and help you understand your analysis results in the right context. We offer a complete solution where everything – from sampling equipment to complete analysis and personal advice – is included in one package. You don't need to look for different suppliers or wonder what samples are needed. We take care of the entire chain so you can feel secure.

More than just numbers – we provide guidance

We know that water sampling and analysis results can seem complicated. Parameters like coliform bacteria, pH value, iron content, nitrates, and radon are not always easy to understand for those not working with water daily. Therefore, we never stop at the analysis itself.

When you receive your report from us, it is clear, easy to understand, and designed to give you a clear picture of what the results mean in practice. Each parameter is explained in an educational way, and you receive concrete recommendations on what actions may be needed if a value deviates from current norms.

We guide you through the process and answer your questions – whether it's about understanding your water analysis, choosing the right purification method, or planning improvements for your well and water system.

Why regular water sampling is important

The Public Health Agency of Sweden and the National Food Agency recommend that well water be checked regularly, typically every three years. Water quality can change over time due to natural processes, changes in the ground, environmental impact, or the age of the well. Bacteria, metals, chemicals, and radon are examples of substances that can be present in well water and can affect both health and well-being.

If there are changes in water quality – such as abnormal odor, taste, color, or turbidity – sampling should be done immediately. The same applies if there have been changes in the surroundings, for example, new development, agricultural activity, or other activities that could affect groundwater.

A current water analysis is also a requirement when selling property with a private well, providing both buyers and sellers with security in the transaction.

Our analysis packages – tailored for different needs

We offer a wide range of analysis packages to cover different needs and water sources:

  • Water Analysis Drilled Well – 41 parameters, our most popular analysis for rock-drilled wells
  • Water Analysis Dug Well – 31 parameters, adapted for dug wells with extra focus on surface water intrusion
  • Water Analysis Complete+ – 71 parameters, our most comprehensive analysis for maximum security
  • Water Analysis PFAS – 30 PFAS substances, for those who want to check for these persistent substances
  • Water Analysis Radon – specific radon check for wells in granite areas
  • Water Analysis Lake Water – adapted for those with surface water extraction
  • Water Analysis Farm – extended analysis for agriculture and horse farms

What sets us apart?

There are many actors on the market offering water analyses, but Svenskt Vattenprov stands out through our holistic approach. We have chosen to collaborate with SGS Analytics – one of Sweden's leading Swedac-accredited laboratories – to guarantee the highest possible quality for every analysis. Our analysis packages are carefully compiled by experts in water chemistry and microbiology to give you the information that truly matters for your water quality.

We don't just offer a technical report with numbers and values. Every analysis result is followed by clear explanations and concrete recommendations. You will know what each parameter means, why it is important, and what you can do if a value deviates. This educational approach makes a difference for thousands of customers who would otherwise feel lost in complex analytical data.

For everyone who values their water

Whether you are a new well owner looking for an initial check, an experienced property owner following the Swedish Food Agency's recommendations for regular sampling, or someone who has noticed changes in their water and wants to know what's happening – Svenskt Vattenprov is here for you.

We help private individuals, farmers, businesses, and associations with water quality control. Every customer is equally important to us, and every water analysis is handled with the same accuracy and care. Your safety is our priority.

Experience that makes a difference

Since our start in 2018, we have continuously developed our services based on customer feedback and new findings in water analysis. We stay updated on changes in legislation, new analysis methods, and emerging water quality problems. This allows us to offer analyses that are relevant to today's challenges – whether it concerns PFAS contamination, radon, nitrate from agriculture, or bacteriological problems.

Our knowledge of Swedish well conditions, geographical differences in water quality, and common problems in various parts of the country helps us provide you with better advice. We understand that a well in Skåne can have completely different challenges than a well in Norrland, and we take this into account in our communication with you.

Your safety begins with knowledge about your water. Let us help you take the first step towards safer drinking water.
